Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to make a payment?
You need access to a phone or the Internet, a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express), your student’s ID number and the bureau code for your school. The website is www.certifiedpayments.net and the phone number is 1-866-549-1010. There is a link to the Certified Payments website here and on each of the school websites. The link includes a drop-down menu listing each school. Simply choose the school your child attends. Then follow the simple prompts by using the next button and filling in the information requested. There are seven simple steps in the process listed on the right hand side of the webpage.
Where do I get my student's ID number?
Every student has an ID number that stays the same throughout his or her school years. Most students know their number. The number is printed on the invoice for textbook fees. Parents of students in middle or high school can find the number on the Parent Internet Viewer letter they received last year. Certified Payments does not know your student's number.
How much does it cost?
Certified Payments charges a fee of three percent of the total for each transaction. The amount is automatically figured in when you make the payment.
What fees are covered?
You can pay school fees at the elementary level as well as fees for KinderClub or KidsClub. Middle school parents can pay school fees, yearbook and transportation fees. Penn parents can pay for school fees, the yearbook, student parking pass, the Spectrum literary magazine, student athletic ticket and student directory.
Can I make one payment for multiple items?
At this time you must pay for each item separately and print a receipt for each one. The company is working on creating a shopping cart so that you can choose different items and pay for them all at one time.
Is it safe to pay online?
Certified Payments uses the latest and best encryption software to assure that your personal information is safe and secure. The security symbol is seen at the bottom of your web browser when you are on their secure site.
