On Wednesday, May 4, 2011 the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation held its Twentieth Annual Employee Recognition Dinner. Over 265 people attended this annual event. Employees retiring from the corporation are honored for their years of service to P-H-M. Employees also receive "service awards" for the number of years they have been employed at the district. Service awards start at 10 years and this year, included two 40-year recipients, Wes Doi of Schmucker and Jim Garrett of Penn.
